This is a project that started because I could not get this song out of my head. When this happens, I have to make a music video because while the music is on repeat in my head, so are the visuals for it. 

I researched online what people thought the meaning of this song was because I was intrigued by the lyrics. One person said that they think it has to do with the story of a woman who called the suicide hotline and was left on hold for 20+ minutes. She ended up taking her own life. 

At the time I made this music video, I had just started to get into the genre of vaporwave. Inspired by that genre and Jack Stauber’s videos, the aesthetic for this music video was born.
